Our Curriculum Implementation
We follow a broad and balanced Art & Design curriculum that builds on previous learning and provides both support and challenge for learners. We follow an Art & Design scheme – Grammarsaurus - that ensures the progression of skills and covers all aspects of the curriculum. Art is taught in blocks. We want to ensure that Art & Design is embedded in our whole school curriculum and that opportunities for enhancing learning by using art are always taken. These lessons are taught in mixed ability classes to enable all children to progress through the curriculum together and experience the same high expectations.
