Welcome to the Early Years at Wednesbury Oak Academy

Starting school is a very special time in your child’s learning journey, and we are delighted to warmly welcome our youngest children and their families to our school.

We create a safe, happy and nurturing environment where children can play, explore and begin to discover the world around them. Our friendly and dedicated staff supports every child to develop their confidence, independence and curiosity through exciting activities, conversations and opportunities to learn both indoors and outdoors.

We strongly believe that the early years are all about building stronger foundations- not only in early language, literacy and maths, but also in developing friendships, resilience, kindness and a love of learning.

We pride ourselves on working closely with our families as we want every child to feel safe, valued and happy to come to school every day. Together, we set the foundations for a smooth transition into school life and a lifelong love of learning.
