Examples of French Work

Year 5 have been enjoying French lessons this term.

They have been learning so much.

· Basic greetings in French

· How to answer the question 'Comment tu t'appelles?' in French.

· How to count and write numbers to ten in French.

· How to say and write ten colours and say which is my favourite in French.

· Ten animal nouns with the correct determiner and also how to say and write these in French.

· To explore and understand better the role of the indefinite article/determiner in French.

They had great fun interacting with each other and starting to have conversations using the correct vocabulary taught. There is much excitement in Year 5 when we have our French lessons and many of the children are sharing their new knowledge at home with their families. 

 

Across KS2, children have the opportunity to speak in French, write in the language and listen to the spoken word in the native accents. Look at some of the beautiful work in our books.
