Our Curriculum Implementation

At Wednesbury Oak Academy, for the teaching of History, we follow the Grammarsaurus History scheme of work. Each unit within the scheme is progressive and aims to increase children’s historical knowledge, historical skills and historical enquiry. Units are adapted to suit our local context and include local history. History is taught in mixed ability classes to enable all children to progress through the curriculum together and experience the same high expectations.
