Warwick Castle - June 2016
For the 2016 Year 6 end-of-year trip, we took the children to Warwick Castle. Our first stop was the Castle Dungeon, where we were thrilled and terrified in equal measures! Over the course of the rest of the day, the children ate ice-cream whilst watching the incredible birds-of-prey show, climbed to the top of the ‘Bear Tower’, managed not to get lost in the Horrible Histories maze and watched an exciting archery show next to the river. We finished the day with a visit to the castle-themed play area, where a member of the public remarked on how kind our children were to the younger children there.
We had a superb day and even managed to avoid the rain for most of the day. The children were absolutely fantastic; it was a pleasure to take them.
