  • RECEPTION September 2024 - New Starter Open Visits

    Tue 26 Sep 2023

    RECEPTION APPLICATIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 2024.

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a Reception place for their child for September 2024, we are holding Open Sessions on 4th, 11th and 25th October at 1.00pm. These sessions are for parents who do not currently have children at Wednesbury Oak Academy and have never visited our school.

The sessions last approximately 45 minutes and we ask that no more than two family members attend and younger siblings do not attend. Please be aware that numbers per session are restricted.

If you would like to visit our Reception classes and team, you will need to book a place through the school office, either by email via office@woak.co.uk or by calling 0121 556 3387.

Applications for places need to be made online through the Sandwell Council website by 15th January 2024.

Once places have been offered and accepted, parents of ALL new starters will be invited to attend an Introduction meeting next Summer Term, where you will learn about everything to do with Reception.

  • Afternoon Nursery from January 2023

    Wed 19 Oct 2022

We are delighted to announce that, due to increased demand for part-time Nursery places, we will be offering an afternoon Nursery from January 2023.  We have a maximum of 20 places available, taking place Monday to Friday, 12.15 – 3.15pm, term time only.

Please note that we are NOT offering 30 hours places at this point in time, so children who already attend morning sessions cannot also attend afternoon sessions.

If you have a child who will be 3 years old before 31st December 2022, or know someone who does, and would like a place in the afternoon Nursery, please contact the office team for an application form on 0121 556 3387 or email office@woak.co.uk
